COVID-19 Re opening update.

Opening Time!

We are extremely pleased to welcome you back to Higher Harlyn Park from the 4th of July!

Following the recent government announcement we are now able to invite all of our lodge/static owners and our seasonal touring pitch holders to Higher Harlyn Park to enjoy your holiday homes and the glorious surrounding areas.

Those with previously booked camping pitches will also be welcome but strictly with their own toilet/wash facilities in tow.

We are opening to future bookings for ‘self contained’ camping which must be booked and paid for in full prior to arrival. We are only taking bookings for these pitches over the phone from 4th July 2020. To book please call us on 01841 520022. Please note that we are not taking casual arrivals without chemical toilet facilities. Do Not Turn Up and Pitch without going to our reception first to check in or make a booking. Please be aware that those with bookings may be asked to demonstrate that they are self contained and have the necessary facilities.

Unfortunately our toilets, showers and washroom facilities will remain closed throughout the 2020 season. We have Elsan Disposal sites for those bringing their own portable facilities. Our pool, children’s play area and bar/restaurant will also remain closed. A rate reduction has been applied. We apologise for the inconvenience but please understand that we have our reasons.

We are in the process of contacting all previous bookings to advise of our decision, we ask for your patience and please be assured that we will call you to discuss your booking.

Our aim to keep everyone safe while staying at Higher Harlyn Park also requires our guests to consider that if you feel unwell and are showing any symptoms of Covid-19 prior to departing your home to journey to Higher Harlyn Park then we ask you to remain at home until you have fully recovered and undertaken the necessary quarantine.  If at any point during your stay at Higher Harlyn Park you start to develop any symptoms of Covid-19 then you must return immediately to your permanent address after informing us of your symptoms and book yourself a Covid-19 test and advise us of the result. We would also like to inform you that we have carried out all of the necessary risk assessments and taken steps to minimise the risk of the spread of Covid-19. We ask all customers to complete a Covid-19 liability waiver and we will be sending a link to all customers prior to your holiday departure date so this can be completed before arrival.

On check in for your holiday we ask that you follow some simple safety guidelines on entering reception. With our new booking system all holidays will have been paid for in advance so this will limit the time spent at reception. We ask that only one family member or group member enter the reception area at the point of check in. Social distancing signs are in place to enable safe distancing between customers queuing for reception, please follow the guided routes on entry and exit. We have perspex screens in place at the reception desk and our staff members will be wearing protective perspex masks to ensure the safety of our customers and staff alike. Contactless payment/card payment is preferable.
